Our History

Caribbean Dispatch Servises Ltd (CDSL) was established on 1st February, 1994 after winning a bid to provide handling services at airports in St. Lucia by the St. Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA).

The Company initially started with a work force which included one manager, one secretary and fifty-five employees operating only at the Hewanorra International Airport. Ramp Services were the core business of the company, while passenger services were outsourced and provided by American Airlines from 1994 to 1999. Caribbean Dispatch grew from a small company to a financially stable company providing our customers efficient, effective, and reliable ramp and passenger services to all airline carriers at the Hewanorra International and G.F.L. Charles Airports with the exception of American Eagle Airlines and Liat. Caribbean Dispatch has over the years grown and become the largest concessionaire at both airports in St. Lucia with a total work force of over 200 employees ranging from mechanical and engineering, ramp, passenger service and administrative positions.

Caribbean Dispatch currently boasts an impeccable handling record as quickest turn around station at the Hewanorra International Airport in the Eastern Caribbean.
